Our Comprehensive Consumption Calculator is an advanced project engineering tool specifically designed to ensure technical precision in the supply of flooring and wall coverings. Unlike conventional calculation systems that are limited to multiplying surface areas, our tool integrates algorithms that analyze the specific geometry of each piece to optimize actual material usage on-site.
⚠️ Technical Note: The system simulates professional installer behavior based on the 50% Cutting Rule:
- If the required cut exceeds half of the piece, it is counted as a full piece.
- If the cut is less than or equal to half, it is counted as a half piece.
- Remember to add a margin for potential breakage (minimum recommended 5%) and, if desired, a stock reserve margin to guarantee the same batch in the future.
* The system also automatically increases grout consumption by 15% for hexagonal and octagonal formats due to their larger linear perimeter.
1. Surface & Margin
